Rugged coastal cliffs and dramatic sea stacks on the Causeway Coast, Northern Ireland.

The Causeway Coast and Glens Arts Service has launched its comprehensive programme of events running from September 11 through December 31, 2026. This season features a broad spectrum of live music, theatre, visual arts exhibitions, and community-focused workshops. Primary activities are concentrated at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady and the Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart, with additional outreach programming extending into Ballycastle, Ballymoney, and Cushendun.

The programme is designed for diverse audiences, ranging from intimate musical performances to family-oriented theatre. Key musical highlights include the Northern Lights Sessions at Flowerfield, featuring The Rowan Leslie Trio on September 11 and Anthony Toner on December 11. Exhibitions and Creative Learning

Visual arts remain a central pillar of the season. Flowerfield opens with Cloud Flocks & Herds by Helen Merrigan Colfer. Meanwhile, Roe Valley hosts Wanderlore: Seven Schools, Seven Stories of Limavady Myths and Legends, followed by Echoes and Hugh McElwee’s The Colour of Water.

Those interested in skill development can participate in creative workshops covering pottery, digital drawing, textiles, and glass. Additionally, the new Dúchas series at Roe Valley will focus on traditional heritage crafts, including weaving and embroidery. Monthly ‘Mums Meet and Make’ sessions will continue at both primary venues to support parents with infants.
