A drop-in space for signing and connection

The BSL Sign Club & Café offers the more flexible option for visitors who want to meet, sign and connect in a social setting. People can attend without booking, and its three-hour running time allows visitors to join the gathering without committing to the separate creative programme.

The workshop and café overlap during the first hour. Workshop participants have the option of joining the Sign Club & Café after their session, allowing them to continue signing and meeting other attendees at the same venue.

Six workshops lead to a live BSL performance

The BSL Storytelling and Poetry Workshop is a six-session creative programme led by Graham Dow, a profoundly Deaf BSL tutor. The sessions will develop participants’ creative work towards a live BSL performance on Wednesday 3 March 2027.
