Malones Edinburgh will host its Unofficial Luke Combs Preparty and Afterparty on 24 and 25 July 2026 at 242 Morrison Street, Edinburgh EH3 8DT. Entry is free, no ticket is required and walk-ins are welcome.

The event is open to the general public as well as people attending Luke Combs’ performance at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Under-18s may attend the preparty until 8pm when accompanied by an adult.

Forever Edinburgh Events does not list a starting time for the preparty. The confirmed late-night detail is that Malones will remain open until 1am for the afterparty, so visitors should take the missing opening time into account when planning when to arrive.

Live music before and after the Murrayfield concert

Malones will play music and host live performers ahead of the Luke Combs concert. The Morrison Street event is designed as a gathering point for people looking for country music before making their way to Scottish Gas Murrayfield, although attendance at the concert is not stated as a condition of entry.

After the stadium performance, the focus returns to Malones for more music and a late-night party setting. The venue is due to remain open until 1am, providing an afterparty option for those returning towards Edinburgh’s West End.

The listing covers both 24 and 25 July rather than a single evening. There is no admission charge or advance booking process stated: visitors can walk in, subject to the age arrangements for the preparty.

Travelling between Malones and Murrayfield

Malones Edinburgh is approximately a 20-minute walk from Murrayfield stadium, according to the event listing. Concert-goers can therefore travel between the venue and stadium on foot without needing to make a separate booking for transport.

Edinburgh Trams provide the stated public-transport alternative, with services running regularly between the area and Murrayfield. Visitors deciding between walking and taking the tram should allow for the separate journeys to the concert and back to Morrison Street if they intend to attend both parts of the event.

Accessibility and entry arrangements

The venue lists level access to its main entrance and bar, and states that the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Its broader accessibility description says that Malones has partial wheelchair access and is partially suitable for visitors with limited mobility. Anyone whose visit depends on access beyond the ground floor should note that the listing does not provide further detail.

Pets are welcome at the venue, and Wi-Fi is available. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult and leave the preparty by 8pm. For everyone attending, the key planning caveat remains the unpublished start time: entry is confirmed as free and unticketed, but visitors will need to check the Forever Edinburgh Events listing or the venue for any later timing information.
