Oxfordshire fire cover holds as six deploy to Suffolk

Six Oxfordshire firefighters and two emergency vehicles are being sent to support the response to a major wildfire in Suffolk.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the deployment consists of one fire engine carrying four firefighters and a 4×4 vehicle carrying another two. Both crews will assist Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service at the incident.
Oxfordshire County Council said arrangements remain in place for the county’s emergency response to continue as normal while the firefighters and vehicles are away.
