Snow White’s Ipswich cast mixes pop royalty and panto favourites
Families planning a Christmas theatre trip can now see who will take the stage in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at Ipswich Regent Theatre. The pantomime runs from Saturday 12 December to Thursday 31 December 2026, with tickets already on sale. It is aimed primarily at families, while a separate Adult 16+ Performance is also planned.
Ipswich Borough Council Newsroom confirmed the full cast on 10 September. Enchanted Entertainment is producing the show, which will combine familiar Regent Theatre performers with actors and musicians known from television, film, touring theatre and pop music.
A festive run from 12 to 31 December
The confirmed dates cover the main Christmas period, although the announcement does not list individual performance times. Standard shows will run during the season alongside several access-focused and alternative performance formats.
Ticket prices were not included in the announcement. Seats can be booked through the Ipswich Theatres website or by calling the box office, giving prospective visitors a way to check the available dates, prices and seating options before committing.
No venue address or transport guidance was supplied, so visitors unfamiliar with Ipswich Regent Theatre will need to confirm those details separately when planning their journey.

Pop royalty takes on the Wicked Queen
Ellena Bacon leads the production as Snow White. She has previously appeared in Enchanted Entertainment’s Easter pantomime tours visiting the Regent Theatre and returns with experience from productions around the country.
Jay Aston will play the Wicked Queen. Best known as an original member of Eurovision-winning group Bucks Fizz, Aston continues to perform with The Fizz and record music. Her casting brings one of the production’s most recognisable music names into the central villain role.
Andrew Goddard joins her as the Wicked Queen’s henchman. He has more than 14 years of experience playing pantomime villains and appeared as Abanazar in the Regent Theatre’s 2021 production of Aladdin. His screen credits include Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Das Boot, COBRA: Cyberwar and Jingle Bell Heist.
Familiar Regent faces return to the kingdom
AJ Jenks plays the Prince, returning after appearing as Prince Sheeran in Ipswich’s 2023 production of Sleeping Beauty. His other stage work includes touring productions of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, Saturday Night Fever and Million Dollar Quartet.

Meesha Garbett takes the role of the Forest Fairy. She appeared as Hortensia, the original Red Beret Girl, in Matilda the Musical, with further screen credits including Wicked, Cats and Jingle Jangle. She is also a World Champion Street Dancer and has performed alongside Justin Bieber.
Two established Ipswich pantomime performers complete the announced principal cast. Mike “Squeaky” McClean returns as Muddles, a role built around his audience interaction, improvisation and comic energy. Peter Brad-Leigh will appear as dame Nurse Nora, bringing the elaborate costumes and broad comedy associated with the traditional pantomime dame.
The production is set to include song-and-dance numbers, comedy, scenery and costumes alongside the familiar Snow White story. The mix of returning performers and first-time additions gives regular Regent audiences recognisable faces without repeating the entire line-up from previous seasons.
Relaxed, interpreted and adult performances planned
Alongside standard shows, the programme will include a Relaxed Performance and a BSL-interpreted and audio-described performance. An Adult 16+ Performance will provide an option intended for older audiences.
The announcement does not specify the dates or times assigned to these formats, so anyone who requires a particular performance should confirm availability before purchasing. Tickets are on sale through the Ipswich Theatres website, while the box office can be reached on 01473 433100.
