Some of the biggest names in British music are back in Finsbury Park for the Major Events programme, with Biffy Clyro, Kasabian and Wolf Alice named among the acts due to perform across the weekend.
The live event days run from Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July 2026 at Finsbury Park, London. Event times, ticket prices and booking details were not listed in the council notice, so residents and attendees should check the relevant artist or event information before travelling.
For people living nearby, the practical detail is as important as the line-up. Haringey Council says residents have been written to about the events and the local impact, with parking controls, road closures, crowd routes and a resident hotline in place around the park.

The programme is being run by Festival Republic and is aimed at the general public, with live music performances and likely pyrotechnic displays among the features highlighted in the council information.
Sound checks and rehearsals are expected the day before and on the morning of each event. The notice says these will not exceed 90 minutes within a pre-agreed three-hour window. Low-level recorded music will be played once gates open until the first act comes on stage.
Music, pyrotechnics and noise checks
The council notice names Biffy Clyro, Kasabian and Wolf Alice as performers, placing the weekend firmly in the major outdoor music calendar for north London.
Festival Republic has also indicated that pyrotechnic displays are highly likely during the events. Exact timings are to be published on the resident website once confirmed, according to the notice.
Noise and vibration will be monitored. Festival Republic has carried out independent vibration studies during previous live event days and plans to bring that work back for the 2026 events. Residents with questions are being directed to the organiser’s noise and vibration team through the event contact routes.
Parking controls and roads to avoid
Parking restrictions will be in force across the event days. Event Day controls in Finsbury Park CPZ, Finsbury Park B and C CPZs will operate until 8.30pm on Friday 3 July, Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July.
Green Lanes A and Green Lanes B CPZ times will also be extended. On Friday 3 July, controls run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. On Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July, they run from 8.30am to 8.30pm.
Osborne Road parking bays will be suspended during the event days to support private hire, Uber and Bolt pick-ups and drop-offs. That suspension is due to end at midnight.
Seven Sisters Road, between Fonthill Road and Green Lanes, will close to traffic for around 90 minutes at the end of the night: between 10pm and 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9pm to 10.30pm on Sunday.
Stroud Green Road, from the Lennox Road/Woodstock Road junction to Seven Sisters Road, will close from noon on each event day until after attendees have left the area. Northbound bus access will be maintained between Wells Terrace and the Lennox Road/Woodstock Road junction during that period.
How crowds will leave the park
Finsbury Park Station, Manor House Station and Seven Sisters Road are expected to be very busy during the road closure periods.
Before the show ends, customers will leave through the arena entrance. Once the show has ended, the exit route will move to the north-east side of the park, towards Manor House, with customers exiting onto Seven Sisters Road.
From there, attendees will be directed right for Finsbury Park Station and left for Manor House Station. Security staff and barriers will be placed at several side-street junctions, including Seven Sisters Road, Portland Rise, Alexandra Grove, Queens Drive, Wilberforce Road and Finsbury Park Road, to discourage event-goers from leaving through residential streets.
Festival Republic is also working with Lime and Forest to manage shared bike use. Bikes will be directed to designated parking bays on Woodstock and Upper Tollington Park Road, with operator teams available to move bikes left in unsuitable locations.
Resident hotline and next steps
Festival Republic’s Community Response and Event Control teams can be reached on 020 8080 1459 during the build, live event and break periods.
The hotline is open from 8am to 8pm on build days, Wednesday 24 June to Thursday 2 July. During live event days, Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July, it runs from 8am to 2am. During break days, Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July, it returns to 8am to 8pm.
Residents can also email [email protected] before the event days. Festival Republic says it will aim to respond within 48 hours in the lead-up to the events and daily during them.
Access to children’s play areas, sports facilities, the cafe and the tennis courts is expected to be facilitated at all times, although access in and around the park may differ from previous years because of additional fencing along Seven Sisters Road.
