Northamptonshire residents get a free week of ASB help

Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week 2026 will bring a free programme of drop-ins, outreach sessions and community events to locations across Northamptonshire from Monday 29 June to Sunday 5 July.

The week is aimed at residents who want advice on anti-social behaviour, support with reporting concerns, or a chance to speak directly with council ASB teams, neighbourhood policing teams, housing officers and partner organisations.

Events will take place across Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton, Daventry, Towcester and Desborough. Most sessions are drop-in events with no booking required, according to the programme shared by North Northamptonshire Council.

Free drop-ins across Northamptonshire

The campaign brings together West Northamptonshire Council, North Northamptonshire Council, Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, Northamptonshire Partnership Homes, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s Immediate Justice team and local organisations.

Residents can use the week to raise concerns about anti-social behaviour in their area, including issues such as graffiti and fly-tipping. Community café sessions in Briar Hill and Blackthorn are designed to offer informal access to officers and partner teams without needing an appointment.

The programme also includes town centre engagement, cadet leaflet drops in hotspot and low-reporting areas, youth safety activity, and work to promote ASB reporting platforms.

Street art project in Daventry

One of the more visible pieces of the week will take place at the Ashby Road underpass in Daventry, where local artist Binty Bint and Parker E-ACT students will lead a community street art project.

The project is intended to turn the underpass into a more colourful and welcoming space, while helping to reduce vandalism and prevent graffiti-related anti-social behaviour. Before the artwork begins, the Commissioner’s Immediate Justice team will work with offenders to clean and prepare the site.

Who should attend

The sessions are for Northamptonshire residents, including people who have experienced anti-social behaviour, want to understand how to report it, or need practical guidance from local officers and partner organisations.

Businesses are also part of the programme, with the Grosvenor Centre event in Northampton bringing partners together to promote reporting tools and available support.

The events are free. Most drop-in sessions do not require booking, and residents are encouraged to attend local sessions, speak to officers and partner organisations, and find out how to report ASB in their area through the North Northants website.
