Aberdeen appeal launched to find missing Nomedas Pravilionis
Police Scotland is asking for urgent help to trace Nomedas Pravilionis, 21, who has been reported missing in Aberdeen.
He was last seen in the Westburn Road area at around 6pm on Tuesday, 11 August. Officers say information from people who may have seen or spoken to him since then could help establish where he is.
Last confirmed sighting in the Westburn Road area
Nomedas is from Peterhead but was most recently seen in Aberdeen. Police are working to establish whether he has remained in the city, travelled towards Peterhead or gone elsewhere.
Anyone who was in or near Westburn Road on Tuesday evening and recognises him is asked to contact police. The appeal is also directed to Nomedas himself: officers say they want to make sure he is safe and well.
Description that may help identify him
Police describe Nomedas Pravilionis as white, about 6ft tall and of slim build. He was last known to be wearing a grey T-shirt and black shorts.
A particularly distinctive detail is that he has dark-coloured casts on both arms. This may help residents in Aberdeen, Peterhead and along any possible route between the two places to recognise him.

Police seek information about possible travel
Inspector Kim Wilkie said police would like to hear urgently from anyone who believes they have seen or heard from Nomedas since Tuesday evening.
The search is considering whether he may have stayed in Aberdeen or attempted to return to his home area of Peterhead. Even information that appears minor may help officers clarify his movements after the last confirmed sighting.
A separate Police Scotland appeal in Arbroath also underlines the importance of reporting possible sightings through the correct police channel.
How to contact Police Scotland
Anyone with information should call 101 and quote reference 2861 of 11 August. If Nomedas sees the appeal, Police Scotland has asked him to get in touch so officers can confirm he is OK.
