Grangemouth Jobs Fair: 24 Employers to Meet Jobseekers in September
Two free employability events will take place in Grangemouth on Thursday, 10 September 2026, giving people across the Falkirk Council area an opportunity to meet employers and find practical support with entering or returning to work.
Both events run from 10:00 to 14:00 and are open to drop-in visitors, so no advance booking is required. The Jobs and Careers Insight Event will be held at Grangemouth Town Hall, while the Employability Support Open Day will run at the same time in Grangemouth Municipal Chambers.
Organised by Falkirk Council as part of the first Scottish Employability Day, the events are open to everyone. They may be particularly relevant to school leavers, people facing redundancy, those considering a career change, people returning to work and anyone who wants to build their skills or prepare for employment.
Meet employers at Grangemouth Town Hall
The Jobs and Careers Insight Event will bring visitors together with representatives from 24 employers. Attendees can ask directly about current vacancies, recruitment, apprenticeships, training and different routes into work. Several of the participating employers will be actively recruiting on the day.

Confirmed employers include:
- Balfour Beatty
- Ogilvie
- Stantec
- Paragon
- Class One Traffic Management
- Lowland Cooperage
- Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership
- Falkirk Council
The format gives visitors a chance to explore both immediate opportunities and possible next steps without needing to apply for a particular role before attending. Councillor Paul Garner, Falkirk Council’s spokesperson for Economic Development, said the events would enable local people to speak directly to employers and learn what jobs, training and career support are available across the Falkirk area.
Find practical employment support at Municipal Chambers
The Employability Support Open Day is intended for people who need help with the practical issues involved in getting ready for work. Participating organisations can discuss training, skills, confidence, advice and other barriers that may make entering employment more difficult.

Organisations due to attend include:
- CVS Falkirk
- Cyrenians
- Triage
- Falkirk Council’s Welfare Benefits team
- The Conservation Volunteers
- Link Living
- Go Youth Trust
- Barnardo’s
- One Parent Families Scotland
- The Salvation Army
Running the two events concurrently allows visitors to choose the type of help most relevant to them: direct conversations with employers at the Town Hall, employability support at Municipal Chambers, or both during the four-hour drop-in period.
